Is this an official Hong Kong tourism site?

No — Totally Hong Kong is an independent, privately run guide, not affiliated with the Hong Kong Tourism Board or any government body.

How is the site organised?

Content is filed into eight departments — Plan, Stay, Places, Do, Culture, Food, News and About — the way a librarian would file it, rather than as a chronological blog feed. The News department covers actual Hong Kong travel news: entry rules, openings, events and changes on the ground — not updates about this website.

Will it be available in other languages?

Yes — the site is being translated into 16 languages, rolling out department by department. The homepage and all eight department hubs are already live in Traditional Chinese, with individual guide translation continuing. See the footer for the full language list.

How do you choose what to cover?

Priority goes to what a first-time visitor actually needs to know, then broadens into depth — more neighbourhoods, more restaurants, more hikes.
