Hong Kong Disneyland's 20th Anniversary celebrations, explained

Hong Kong Disneyland opened in September 2005, and its 20th Anniversary celebrations — branded "The Most Magical Party of All" — are running through summer 2026 with new entertainment, exclusive merchandise and themed food.

What's new for the anniversary

"Friendtastic!" Parade — billed as the largest parade in the park's history, with 11 floats and 11 character groups.
"Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle" — a new anniversary-exclusive castle stage show featuring Mickey & Friends, Duffy & Friends and the Disney princesses.
Anniversary-themed merchandise and food items available for the duration of the celebration.

Looking further ahead

Hong Kong Disneyland has continued to add Marvel-themed attractions in recent years, and further expansion in this direction has been reported by industry trade press, though no confirmed opening date has been announced as of this writing — industry expectations point to late 2026 at the earliest, more plausibly 2027.
