Hong Kong with kids
Hong Kong is generally an easy city to travel with children in — compact, safe, and full of activities that double as genuine novelty for kids rather than things they have to be dragged around.
The obvious wins
The Peak Tram's steep climb, the Star Ferry crossing, and a ride on the open-top deck of a tram all function as attractions in their own right for younger children, not just transport.
Theme parks
Hong Kong Disneyland is sized for an easier one-day visit than its larger overseas counterparts; Ocean Park adds an aquarium and more thrill-oriented rides for slightly older children.
Easy outdoor time
Shorter, well-paved sections of country park trails and the beaches at Repulse Bay or Shek O give outdoor space without needing a serious hike.
